Region FCCLA Conferences are off to a good start with the youth leadership from the Region FCCLA Officers. Region 3 was held in SW Minnesota on Oct 1. Region 6 was held that day in Detroit Lakes. All reports said the officers did a quality job of organizing the conferences. Next up will be Region 8 on Oct 12 and then 3 more regions hold theres the week of Oct 20-21-22.
What do regional officers learn in their year as an officer? " Public speaking foremost-I also got information about training, legsialtive day " said an officer from 2008-2009.
Another 2008-2009 officer said:" FCCLA is an awesome way to prepare for life in the "outside world" and to become a shining young person."
